July 4th. Fireworks. BBQs. The Beach. Time with Friends.
That is Independence. Separation from the norm. Separation from the the Masses. Releasing yourself from the shackles of something or an entity bigger than yourself. Breaking free from thoughts that have held you prisoner and under the rules of others.
I personally love using this day to reflect on my own life and where I can continue to gain independence from myself and the limits put on myself. The word independence should bring thoughts of joy to you.
But how many people each day lack independence. Financially, spiritually and even independence of choice. How many people each day make choices out of habit rather than consciously taking the time to weigh the value of their decisions.
Their choices may be holding them back from achieving everything they could possibly want, but they are caught in the wheel of habitual choice.
July 4th is a great day to reflect on your life, your habits, your patterns, your triggers and truly take a look at "why" you may not be moving in the direction you want. Write this all down, study it and then create a plan of action. Celebrate the evening as each firework goes into the air and see if as yourself. Beaming to new heights and then spreading your light and message amongst others.
Be the beacon of leadership. The beacon of hope. The beacon of change. Developing yourself will give you the permission to lead others and create change.
Living a life where you feel trapped, held down and under the control of somebody else is no way to live. Put everything in the correct place and begin to approach each day with independence.
This act of self-expression will give greater freedom to you mentally, driving you to a position of stress free living, passionate engagement and the results you have been so badly desiring.
So, on this Independence Day, let's make it about you first. Then, celebrate your Independence and our Independence.
A special thank you to all of those in the US Armed Services who truly put it all on the line each and every day. A fist in the air to you all for approaching life fearlessly to protect others. #likeapro
