Each week I get asked: "Coach, do you write you messages ahead of time? You know, a week ahead? Where you have a bunch in the can?
To which I always answer: Never.
I write and deliver messaging in real-time.
Why do I do it this way?
Well, daily writing is one of my KAI's, or, Key Action Indicators.
This means when I do X, it gets me to Y.
Like this message.
Each morning I write it, this message gets sent to over 10,000 + CHAMPIONS around the globe.
The more I write, the more I connect with everyone.
That is what I love.
That creates energy.
That energy leads to action.
Therefore, writing to you each day is a KAI of mine.
Key Action Indicators are simply the things we do each day that yield a result (over time).
Yes, over time.
Working out and training may be a KAI of yours that delivers you optimal health and physical performance over time.
If you are in sales, prospecting using a specific mode or set of aligned daily actions may be your KAIs.
Again, a Key Action Indicator says: When I do X, the yield is ______________.
These are specific actions.
They are not based on theory or hypothesis.
These are the things that you do that have been proven by YOU to work.
That is the next key to remember. BY YOU.
Compare yourself and HOW you do things to nobody else.
What works for me will not work for you.
What works for you will not work for me.
This is my biggest issue with teaching and even some coaches who teach a system and throw you into a box.
That is not how it works.
Everything is individual.
Life, business, it is all an individual sport as it relates to the "how" you do things.
Whenever I coach, it is always about the individual and what they need that day- while we always connect our coaching to the bigger goal and desired outcome.
That style of coaching, along with attacking that individuals KAIs (once we come up with them through testing) is what we then become accountable to.
This is the only way.
What you do each day matters.
You must be doing the right stuff and the snowball will grow and gain velocity and size over time.
Rush nothing about process development and KAI identification.
It is too costly to be doing the wrong stuff for a long duration.
This is why people get stuck, stagnant, and suck.
The 3-S's- Stuck, Stagnant, Suck.
Don't let that be you.
Take action no your KAI's and you will never join that statistic of being one of the 3-S's.
Let's go out and WIN today!
