Hey Team! 

I have had a busy few days... finishing the edits of my new book, Habits of a Champion.. (due out mid October)... (order here)

I was at Yankees Stadium on Wednesday night... rooting on the boys to win the ALDS.... but... they came up short... that is playoff baseball.. it happens...

Yesterday, I had a speech to a young, hungry, ambitious company on Long Island then ...

I Drive to Maryland...a late afternoon meeting with a Baseball Company....dinner then bed.

Which brings me to today!

I am coaching a baseball clinic with The Ironman, Cal Ripken Jr. and his brother, Billy Ripper Ripken!

The best infielders on the East Coast will be gathering for our instruction... 

Nothing better than working with the next generation of elite players... they are hungry, excited, and passionate to achieve their goals.. so cool. 

With all this running around, How do I get through it?

I realize my schedule is nothing next to what Cal accomplished! 

2,632 consecutive MLB games... never taking a day off from playing... never getting hurt... (or playing through whatever was bothering him)... simply amazing...

How?

How can a player do this?

Preparation....

Will....

Self-Belief....

Having an Expectation of nothing else... but what his objective is: GET OUT THERE AND PLAY....

Amazing... especially since today players need days off every other week...

Same game.

Less grit.

More money being paid out...

More protection for the player...

But lets talk about you for a minute...

  • Have you decided to be great? 
  • Have you decided to go on a streak?
  • Have you decided on what success looks like to you?
  • Have you decided what your difference-factor is?

These are critical questions...

They will drive you. Motivate you. Allow you to overcome the obstacles that others see was obstacles....

And most importantly... you will realize how important training is to accomplish the feats you set out to accomplish....

So what can you do today to get yourself rolling?

1. Decide.
2. Take Action on your Decision.
3. Repeat Step #2 Each Day.

 

Simple.

You too can be an IRONMAN (or IRON-WOMAN)

It starts with a decision....

You decide...
