Hi Team..
I hope you had a great weekend.
Today's message is really powerful if you sit with it for a few minutes...
Deconstruct it.
Think about how it applies to you and your life.
I want to start with this question...
What would you do if you could not fail?
If you could succeed at anything you wanted- what would you do?
The answer here is really important...
Why?
Because in order to succeed, you must embrace the failures.
This AM I wrote something on linkedin about many that I have coached through the years..
What I have found is the perfectionism and growth are always in a tug of war...
They hamper each other..
This does not mean the perfectionist can not grow- but they grow with a lot of stress, strain, and self-abuse..
They beat the shit out of themselves when they fail...
They spend extra time, energy, and a good portion of their life trying not to fail and taking precautions over action as it relates to failure prevention...
That is a recipe that comes with a cost..
Let's dive into my post below..
When I coach individuals and companies, the # 1 think that holds them back is this 👇...
They are afraid to seek failure.
They spend every ounce of their energy playing it safe, never pushing and testing their own limits- then live with a knowingness, a frustration, and a regret that they could and should do more.
They then spend tons of money on coaches, courses, seminars, workshops- all to muster up the courage to push those limits.
Some eventually do, most eventually do not.
Then, they repeat the process.
But here is the best FREE coaching I can give you:
"Unless you are willing to stretch yourself beyond the point where you know you can perform basically error- free, you'll never find out how good you really are."
This is truth.
This means you most find and seek discomfort.
You must make decisions that come with high friction and with the potential to fail.
But what one will soon find is that they have abilities to soar past their own goal lines.
Today, take the risk.
It is the start of a new week.
DIVE IN.
Go for it.
As my mom alway says to me: "The worst they can tell you is NO, then, you say NEXT."
Thanks mom.
That is the the key here- to go for it.
Take off your own restraints and go for it.
Be open.
Risk is your friend.
See it as such!
Go out and win today.
