And today, I want to share something that may just be one of the most valuable lessons I have ever taught you....
Ready for it?
Well, you will have to wait a few seconds.
This lesson is about you achieving max performance.
Achieving max results- without the stress.
Now, it will require you to change.
And with that, I am just hoping I have not lost 50% of readers of this newsletter.
Hear me out...
In order to achieve MAX Performance, you are going to have to change the way you think about this one-thing.
That thing is workload.
The typical mentality of most is to stack workload until they reach capacity- then, they crack.
They get nasty, resentful, and they feel like they have no personal time and just not enough time to get all the things done that make up the workload they took on themselves in order to pursue greater levels of success and accomplishment.
Read that again.
Yes, in the quest to become more, they started to do more.
And in doing more, they actually lost their freedom to think clearly, work without pressure, and truly do the things, and only those things they are great at.
Now, are you ready for the lesson?
The lesson is this: DO NOT THINK ABOUT HOW, THINK ABOUT WHO.
Stop taking on more, instead start eliminating the non-essentials or non-IPA's (non-income producing activities) and start giving the most important tasks to the most competent people.
Newsflash: YOU ARE NOT THE BEST AT EVERYTHING.
That is the thought of a loser.
When you think nobody can do it better than you- you are wrong.
Flat out wrong.
That is one of the most costly ways to think- and many still think this way.
This goes with the saying: "If you want it done right, do it yourself"
Get off your high horse you ego maniac.
That is 100% not true.
In fact, by doing everything yourself, you are 100% stunting your growth.
Your companies growth.
Your teams growth.
SO, as things come at you.... tasks, ideas, policies, procedures-- anything that needs to get done, before you take it on I want you to ask this one question:
WHO is the best person to do this?
**because it is not me.
*** I am not the best person to do this.
You see, when you retrain your brain to start thinking like this, your team will build itself. Your team will then be empowered because they are doing work they love and are good at.
And, with that, you will start to see tremendous elevation in your mood, your teams mood, and the moods of those around you.
When you apply this to a Company, you see MAX ELEVATION in culture.
When we do the things we want to do and are good at doing- we feel great.
When we do the things we hate to do and the things we struggle with- we feel like crap.
It is that simple.
Most people are walking around dead because they just do not have the passion flowing- their day is filled with shit they hate doing!
Stuff they suck at.
Now freakin stop it!
Start being the CEO of your life....
Start running shit!
And you can only do that when you start thinking like a winner!
