HAS YOUR BODY STOPPED PUMPING?

And just because it did does not mean you are dead!

Although, some of your bodies key systems may be dying or working inefficiently right in front of your eyes.

Do you know your body is one big pumping machine?

Blood flow. Heart rate and rhythms. Digestive Track. Muscle contraction. All based on pumping.

So are you pumping?

If you are, that means your body is working efficiently and effectively. If the body is able to contract properly without being interrupted or "blocked" then your system will be showing higher levels of efficiency.

What does that mean to you?

Constipation and stomach bloating? Gone.
Feeling cold all the time? Gone.
Aches & Pains due to shortened muscles. Gone.
Low Energy? That is gone too.

So now that you understand the positives of a body this is PUMPING effectively, how do you make sure you are pumping effectively?

Movement. If you want your body to move, you have to move.

I know this reference may cause some of you to hit the X button on this screen, but have you ever seen how many prunes are consumed by individuals over 65 in South Florida?

I mean prunes have got to be a number one seller in Publix down there. Why?

Most of these 65+ folks are not PUMPING well from a digestive standpoint. The active ones are fine, but those who are inactive deal with chronic "build-up" and bloating due to a poor digestive pump.

If you don't move, your body can't push things around and out effectively. That means pain for you. That means your body will respond with bloating, distress pain, even levels of delirium due to mild toxicity.

The key to bodily efficiency is movement. By movement I am not referring to simply walking.

Walking is great for basic locomotion, but you must work your heart to higher elevations so you can truly improve your bodies pumping and contractile ability.

No matter your age, you must start to push yourself to that point where you are experiencing elevated heart rates.

This can be achieved via swimming, stair climbing, hill walking, and weight training using weights that are slightly heavier than comfortable with lowered rest. Weight training has so many benefits-- but I have found few things to work better when done with low rest to truly drive the bodies engines.

Now this prescription is a basic one for those who are not training competitively for a sport or competition.

It is fair to say that most over 65 fit into this category. The body needs to move and sweat. The body loves movement and hates sitting. Keep your engine going. It will be uncomfortable at first, but that lack of comfort will truly benefit the bodies key systems.

Think about this--- bring health to your body and life.#likeapro
