I came up with this list because I was fortunate enough to manage over 300 million dollars in human assets each year, was a part of the greatest sports franchise of our era, and worked with some of the greatest players, managers, and executives in Pro Sports... these were 10 great lessons that I learned.

I wrote these because I see a lot of people telling others what to do, how to live, and how to WIN when they have actually never won themselves.

They take advantage with others due to great marketing and persuasion techniques... but I wanted to provide a practical, honest, no B.S. formula for people to see, understand, and follow.. giving them insights into the world of the PROS.

  1. Perception is reality and things are either black or white.
  2. If you can't get it done and perform at a high level- you have to go, no matter who you are.
  3. Second chances only come to those who have a long history of success.
  4. Consistency is the most important thing outside of talent.
  5. The best players actually work the least.. but know exactly how much work they need.
  6. Your worst players (it's all relative-since they are Pros) are usually the most inconsistent with their daily habits.
  7. The louder you are.. the weaker you are. Great players are humble and know what they can do- with zero broadcasting.
  8. The best leaders are the ones who form "real" relationships with their players, and in return, the players respond because they care about the leader.
  9. The teams that WIN are the teams that come from behind.. and can win a 1-run game.. (a small contribution wins the game)
  10. Rest is often times more important than work. Work smart, not hard.

EXTRA: Insecure people can get there... but they can't stay... mentally they just can't hack it.

I hope you enjoyed... and oh yeah..

The best thing I learned is this--- you are judged on PERFORMANCE. If you can't perform, you are out. Case closed. Perform or go home. Losers never got a trophy.
