Hi Team...
I have noticed a theme this year...
That theme I call: Temporary Quitting....
Temporary quitting is a period in which somebody quits on themselves, loses faith in their abilities, and allows their results to determine how they feel and how they speak to themselves....
It is a way of being that is often the result of circumstance AND acute dips in confidence...
**It occurs when an individual allows outside results, perceived failures, and a lack of positive transaction to determine their internal state of mind...
I find it much more common with men- especially those driven by praise, accomplishment, recognition, and wealth generation...
When they feel as if their future is in any sort of jeopardy, they contract.
By future, I am referring to their potential, their abilities being questioned, their getting off track from their own proposed "success timeline".....
When these things become compromised or are "at risk" - well the pressure goes up and the passion goes down...
Every day feels like a fight.
A fight for survival...
And often the end result is burnout...
A feeling of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion that never seems to let up...
UNTIL...
A choice is made and action is taken...
If you find yourself in this state, it is not permanent...
It will last as long as you let it or as long as you desire it to last...
And here is the thing- if you do not create a pattern disruption, this state will linger and linger until the next big event in your life that pushed a pattern disruption...
Why am I writing about this today?
Well, we are about to turn the year..
My belief is to leave all the crap behind and start a new path, a new trajectory, and new journey towards victory...
That can only happen once somebody decides that they will no longer accept a state of being from this point forward..
A refusal to succumb to the negative self-talk, thoughts, and associated visions of failure and loss.....
Today, if you are in this state- STOP IT.
Realize what you are saying to yourself and reverse it using the technique of reframing...
Reframe your negatives with a positive- can-do affirmation...
"I am struggling" = "Today is going to be a day of victory"....
"This has been a tough year" = "2022 is going to be the best year of my career"
"My job sucks" = "No job or position defines me, I am a Champion"
Now to some of you, this may seem "cheesy" but it is truly candy to brain if you can assault it this high belief verbal artillery.
That is what I want for you..
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.
Stop getting down on yourself...
All things are possible for you....
When you believe they are...
You can do it..
Think with abundance...
Live with abundance...
Challenge your day to day operating system by acting and thinking from a position of victory....
