I wanted to share this with you guys as we head into a new week..

Over the past few weeks there has been such a common theme going on in my life.. 

That is people asking me for advice... I know .. shocking right!

But.. helping people find their way .. physically and mentally via coaching is definitely my true passion..

I have had tremendous mentors (you guys know who you are- and thank you for everything).. and I have truly enjoyed sharing my experiences, both good and bad with others to help them along their journey...

Ok.. (enough of the small talk)...

So the common theme of those who are looking for what is next.. or those who have been struggling to meet/ reach their goals comes down to one thing:

IDENTIFICATION.

You must identify what you truly want.

Simple, right?

It is.. but only when we give it just enough thought. If we over think it, we are toast. If we under think it, we are toast.

The scary thing is that most people give more focus to where they want to go to dinner or what clothes they are going to wear... than do identifying their true goals and mission.

My question is this.. WHAT IS A WIN TO YOU?

For a guy like Derek Jeter.. it was simple: To make it to the Hall of Fame (once identified.. all actions aligned)

I was doing a call the other day with a Coaching Client-- and I asked:

"What is your dream job?"
"What if you had all the talents and powers in the world would you want to do? "
"What is skill sets to you love using and you naturally feel talented using them?"

and most importantly.. "How do you define winning"?

What we came to realize was this: He was unable to answer any of these questions with clarity.. and that my friends is the issue.. 

These are big questions that need answers.. 

Same goes for your health.. What is your ideal weight? What does your body look like when you are done paining the picture? What are your ideal blood work numbers?

Once you can IDENTIFY.. You have now DEFINED WINNIING... then.. and only then can you actually WIN.. 

 

This works in all aspects of life.. be a strategist.. 

IDENTIFY, DEFINE, and then go MAKE IT HAPPEN... 

Put that WIN STATEMENT in front of you all the time..so no matter how distracted you get on social media.. you can ALWAYS DEFINE YOUR WIN .
