Hi Team...

I hope you all had a great weekend as we head into Thanksgiving week!

This morning, I got up fired up and excited.....

During shorter weeks like this, there is so much to get done before shutting it down for the holiday....

My first order of business was signing about 100 copies of my new book, Habits of a Champion Team for orders that came in during our pre-order!

I love this.

It gives me a chance to connect with each book on its way out the door!

When I sign books- I always say "thank you" when I personally seal each envelope.

It is a busy world out there- so I am super grateful for somebody taking the time to support me- but also to most importantly get better.

To be trusted as an advisor to help teams and individuals get better- as their personal coach is truly amazing.

One of my favorite lessons from my new book, Habits of a Champion Team is this:

"Narrow and deep.. never shallow and wide."

This time of year could make us feel like we have "so much to do" that we can lose focus and get overwhelmed....

When you apply the habit of "narrow and deep, never shallow and wide" you will see things differently.

You will not stretch yourself, instead, you will stay within yourself and within your abilities/ capabilities!

And with this, it will keep your mind calm and centered...

Too often, our mind speeds up and starts to spin and swirl...

This is a key indicator that you are going shallow and wide....

Coach, how do I get myself back to focused on narrow and deep?

Simple- you draw a circle and answer the question:

What is my most important thing to get done right now?

Write that down in your circle.

Underneath that, write down 3-bullet points....

Next to those points, write down 3-actions that will help you get that thing done...

Then, immediately do those actions, in order, one at a time.

This is a centering and focusing exercise.

It works because it is actionable and will keep you calm because what you ACTUALLY have to do is right in front of you....

That is the why this works..

You can SEE what your big "what I have to get done"...

Then, you can SEE that action steps to help you get that thing done..

Once that circle is complete- along with the 3-action steps, you can then draw another circle and do this again for your next goal.

Got it?

This is a Champions Habit....

Get to work!

Let's go!

And if you want to order my new book, Habits of a Champion Team, you can pre-order your copy here by clicking here.

It means so much!
