If you live in the Northeast, you can relate to the frigid weather we have had over the past few weeks...
Snow, sleet, freezing rain.. it has been nice to finally see the melting of the Frozen Tundra with a whopping 47 degree day!
So yesterday I was driving around the mall parking lot, and saw a very cute older couple in their 80s walking together..
I was applauding them for being outside, walking, and getting healthy on a Cold Day..
This moment of admiration was soon greeted by one of fear and panic!
I saw the husband lose his footing, slip on the sleeted surface, and fall to the ground..
I immediately got out of the car, picked him, and got him to his feet.
I gave him a quick pep talk and send him on his way..
He was a bit down about the fall, embarrassed, and shaken..
This is why I do what I do.. To Help People Win the Long Game of Life..
Immediately I thought.. "Will he fall again? Probably.. How did he get to this point? From never strengthening his legs.. and thinking that walking is strengthening.."
No matter where you are at in your lifecycle.. remember.. YOU MUST KEEP YOUR LEGS STRONG.. AND TRAIN FOR BALANCE..
If you want to stay STRONG FOR LIFE.. your base and your foundation is everything.. and the older you are.. the HARDER you have to work..
I bet, if this gentleman was training to age well.. he could of rebounded..
Now.. let's all commit to training our base and foundation with tenacity and vigor..
The more stable and strong you are.. the better your chances..
