Hi Team...

Well- are you ready?

Labor Day has come and gone- that means one thing...

IT IS GO TIME!

I am locked and loaded and ready to go- and I hope you can say the same.

It is time.

It is time to do something big with the back end of this year.

Make a splash.

Go for the win.

Bring it home!

Now, before we do that, I have a question for you:

How do you score?

Score on what Coach?

Score on The Negativity Scale!

Let me tell you about The Negativity Scale...

Click here to listen to this weeks episode on The Negative Scale.

#1: It determines just how negative you are by your own and peer evaluation.

#2: If you are under a 5- you will experience higher stress and anxiety and frustration.

#3: Your score determines your happiness.

Got it?

Now, here is the scale..... (as you know, I am a very simple when it comes to concept utilization- so here it is...)

The scale is 1-10.

1 is extreme negativity.

10 is extreme positivity.

The scales optimal zone is between 8 and 9. (since extreme positivity can also have a cost)

So, if you were to ask yourself where you sit, well, where do you sit?

1- is classified with it is the fault of everyone else why you struggle, life sucks, I suck, I am miserable.

10- is classified with the sun is out even when it is raining.

5- is classified with hopeful optimism but a reality of bad things can and do happen and you can go either way.

You see, this scale is really important to use not just once, but frequently.

It is best used in the moment when you can catch yourself randomly and ask yourself: How am I currently scoring?

Now, here is WHY this is important.

  • Nobody that lived in constant negativity ever did anything worth talking about- well, the truth is, they may have but they were too miserable to enjoy it or any other accomplishments.
  • Negativity is stress and anxiety inducing state.
  • Scoring low on the scale is indicative of an internal state of discontentment
  • A low score demonstrates a battle- an internal battle that you fight everyday against yourself.
  • High achievers can also suffer from a low score- these are the over-achievers where enough is never enough but they are the ones that achieve through grind, through fight, through constant friction and anger.

I hope by now you understand how important it is to elevate your score to the right side of the #5- because if you do, you can still be competitive and have an edge, but you do so with a knowingness it is all going to work out in your favor.

This is a key distinction of The Champions Mindset.

Winning as a result of first believing you can.

Got it!

SO, today, let's lift our score and go get it!

Your Coach,
