Hi Team...

This morning I wrote what is going to be a controversial post on leadership on the LinkedIn platform.

But- I am ok with that because I only write truth.

You see, I am really big on leadership development and developing, empowering leaders.

What I see in many corporate entities and teams today is internal poisoning. 

Meaning, most leaders are very disconnected from what is actually going on because they have so-much going on...

Since our attention can not be everywhere- what happens is leaders begin to hire people to take over key areas of the business- one of them being their people development.

Oftentimes, who gets hired are people that are in charge of coming up with the next best program, so they think, but they never engage the people of the Organization and what they really need or want...

For example, if you team is needing more confidence, or a deeper understanding of why they are not confident or lacking understanding, WHY would a company not invest in coaching for these individuals or instead for for a program on empathy?

You see, where there is disconnection there is disconnection.

If you run a team or are a part of a team that lacks connection or engagement- it is often because there is a lack of clarity amongst team members and therefore this is leading to disconnection (also known as job searching) as the culture eventually pays a price..

Why do I write this to you?

Well, I work with many people who are either getting ready to jump ship, have jumped ship, or are just at the point of considering it.

Their companies no longer understand them and have become more about saving the world than helping their people be great..

That is reality.

I hear these stories every single day.

What does this mean to you?

It means this- if you are not happy, make a change.

Nothing is permanent.

Do not let somebody else tell you what your happiness should be or how it should look.

If you are part of an organization that is culturally not aligned to you and your values or one that is not developing you or making you better (alongside your own efforts, obviously), then it is time to get out.

As a Champion it is your job to always be seeking more but most importantly always remaining in complete alignment..

Your time, energy, and efforts must all be aligned to something you trust and believe in- if that is not the case, then change must happen.

It is time for your inner Champion to rise- so be truthful with and towards yourself.

Go get it today.
