Hey Team...

I am writing this at sunrise today from the Olympic Village in Salinas, Puerto Rico...

We are at an amazing Academy with 200 baseball players, as well as Olympic Athletes from other teams like water polo, weight-lifting, and shooting....

The vibe here is amazing since everybody is so focused on their craft... and their training.

At 10pm, there is curfew...

Nobody can enter or leave the Village....

If they try, they will not be permitted back till the next day....and then they will be in some big trouble....

It really got me thinking....

When you are in an atmosphere like this, you can't help but want to be better...

Everybody is training...

Everybody is focused on their nutrition so they can truly energize, sculpt, and chisel themselves into their best self...

The energy and focus is truly amazing....

It is not extreme, but very structured...

And in my years of Coaching people, that is where the journey begins...

Providing structure to people day to day schedules, from Athletes to Executives, making sure they can never use the excuse " I do not have time."....

Which, we all know is a scam...

Once they get scheduled, the next step is giving them some basics that they can win with...

1. AM Routine (Stretching, Breathing, Heart Rate Elevation, Visioning)

2. Hydration (1/2 Bodyweight in OZ of water per day)

3. Increase Fruits & Vegetables

4. PM Routine (Pre-Bed Routine focused on Letting Go of Your Days Energy)

5. Language (What we say to ourselves and how we say it)

Those are the first 5-Steps...

Before we start a formal training program, we must nail these steps...

They are the foundation of health, vitality, mental strength, and fuel for the body...

Then we begin to focus on the workout part....

You see, so many are focused on the hardest part: The Workout and The Training

They often fail because they have not prepped for it...

They have not set themselves up for the WIN.

That is the key...

Take the preliminary steps that will ensure your success...

With Athletes, we never go fast...

As a matter of fact, we go very slow when it comes to training, nutritional change, and behavior modification...

The general public is in a race for results... and because of that... they are like a bottle rocket....

They shoot up, have a result, and come back down to reality pretty quickly because they can not sustain the willpower....

It should not come down to will power... but rather schedule, a plan that works for you and considers your wants, likes, desires, and needs.... as well as a training program that is 100% centered on your needs...

We then combine that with daily coaching and accountability... and boom, The Athlete wins.

Thats is how we do it!
