Hi Team...

Two weeks ago I sat down with cardiologist, Dr. William Davis..

It was a really great conversation- he is so passionate about his work...

He lost his mother to a cardiovascular issue and as a result- dove head first into medicine...

But, he was not happy with how traditional doctors were approaching things- treating symptoms and not causes...

He went on to study what really was effecting the body, most specifically the heart ...

His research took him to write his first book, Wheat Belly (a bestseller) and now his new book, SuperGut is on it's way...

The takeaways were very important.... because if we want the most out of our bodies, we have to start treating our bodies differently than most of us do...

Take-away 1: Wheat today is not the same wheat as 50 years ago...

Wheat today is a major contributor to inflammation in the body as a result of how it is grown and processed today....

Take-away 2: As a result of how we eat and the lack of nutrition in our foods, our guts are more porous and leaky- spilling out into our bloodstream making us feel not so good- from foggy-cloudy to fatigued and drained...

Take-away 3: It is not that hard to change...

You can still eat the things you love, you just have to modify how you prepare your foods and use ingredients that are non-inflammatory and that have a higher nutrient yield for the body to use and apply.

Dr. Davis was also an inspiration to me, as I am not over 40-days in on a lifestyle change that included eliminating certain foods...

As a result I am down almost 10lbs., energy is way up, and bloat is gone.

It is amazing how in a short period of time the body can recalibrate and get itself back to normal!

I will say better than normal!

Even after years of eating poorly, not exercising, and just not making the best choices- the body can and will adapt quickly to dump junk weight, body-fat, and start to charge itself from a metabolic standpoint...
