Happy Monday to ya!
This weekend I was outside doing work- and got thinking how simple my mindset was in the moment of doing outdoor work....
As I broke it down, I realized it was for 1-reason...
Nothing was coming at me...
Nobody, no marketing, nothing...
When we engage today in pretty much anything, there is stuff coming at us...
Driving = People, Billboards, New Developments, Etc.
Social Media = People, Ads
TV= Ads / Commercials
Radio = Ads/ Commercials / Rambling Use-Less Dialogue
I have found the only 2-places for controlled inputs at a healthy speed today are:
1. Outdoors in a quiet setting (park, golf course, farm, camp ground, backyard)
2. Reading
That is pretty much it.
These are two very analogue activities that keep the mind relaxed and in a healthy, non-accelerated state....
Yet, many of us choose to navigate from them and instead choose the speed game...
The scroll game...
The city game...
And we never give ourselves and exit from the speed game....
Just remember, the mind regenerates itself with less stimuli....
SO give it less and you will be rewarded with more...

Keep things analogue as often as you can....
Read.
Write.
Sit.
Be.
Take it in... the good stuff.
