Hope you had a great weekend!
I have been traveling a bunch over the past few weeks and this was a great weekend to finally stay home, catch up on rest, and just have nothing to do and no place to go!
I spend the past few days editing my book, Habits of a Champion.....
I am so excited to share...
I was a bit ambitious thinking I could get it out this spring.. but this fall.. it is a GO!
Speaking of habits...
Winning Monday can be hard to do during the summer since the weather is great, most people are not fully in "work" mode, and the vibe is typically that of chill-out rather than engage. (unless you are an MLB baseball team getting ready to head down the stretch)
So, how do we WIN MONDAY?
1. Start Sunday Night..Make a List of Objectives "Power-Plays" for Monday and the Week! ** If you finish early, you get more free time to yourself!
2. Start Monday with a Workout..Heart-rate up, sweat, wake the body up with a conditioning/ strength session before work!
3. Start Monday with a Cold Shower!..You can head right into the shower after your workout... and make sure you finish on Cold Water to spark the nervous system!
4.Start Monday with a Healthy Breakfast!...No starch carbs... fruits/ veggies/ protein... the starches can weigh you down! We need you lean and mean.. fighter jet style!
5. Finish Monday with a Stretch and Bath!..Yup.. you read that.. when you finish your day.. take 15-20 minutes to stretch in quiet... then end your day with a hot bath... this will help your body and mind relax, heal, and recover from a successful Monday!
The game rules are simple...
Days like the above, when repeated over and over, will lead you to a peaceful, happy, relaxed, successful, CHAMPIONSHIP Life....
