Well, yesterday, as I was speaking to a group of 200+ executives in Amelia Island, FL, I shared the principle of the line of neutrality....
Which is an imaginary line that says: I will not get too high, I will not get too low- but most importantly I will ride the middle line of emotions...
And, I always have an exit strategy from both states- because both of these states, being too high, and being too down both have a consequence emotionally and to my energy levels...
We must know how to get back to midline- or, the line of neutrality...
That is key to consistent performance but most importantly, emotional regulation..
Every moment has an opening and a closure- too often we forget to close the moment.
