Yesterday, I was doing a coaching session and stepped the intensity up a bit on the group...
My passion came through...
The passion for actually helping this group get better...
When I coach, I listen.
I listen to every word that is said and how it said...
The how is often more important than the what...
Here is how it went down..
One of my amazing C30 campers decided he wanted to go to the next level..,
So, I challenged him.
And he was not ready for that challenge initially- but, as a group, we all rallied around him and he stepped up!
We have to get out of the habit of saying things and then dancing around the necessary actions...
If you want to win, and you want to grow, you MUST get in the daily habit of speaking into existence what you want- then, combine that with the necessary actions that are aligned to what you say..
For example...
I want to make more money...
Then, you do what you have always done
= not going to happen, making more money that is.
I want to make more money...
Then, you find the main financial driver of your business, or, you find a career option that yields that (and you attack this until you get it)...
= you are going to make it happen, you will make more money.
The mechanics of what we want are very simple- the issue is overthinking and not taking the daily, consistent actions.
That is where coaching comes in..
Coaching is designed to keep you clear and on path without ever letting you waver unless it is strategic and to prove a point...
I have CEOs and Leaders call me all the time for a tune-up.
They want immediate clarity and direction.
I give them that- then they march forward until the next time (which is usually 2-weeks later)...
We stay in that every other week rhythm for often years at a time- and as a result, these individuals grow...
They get better over time...
They evolve...
