I have something to share with you today!
Are there things in your life that you avoid doing?
Of Course there are!
We all have them....
SO, 2 weeks ago I was at the gym....
Usually, I start my day with about 45 minutes to an hour of cardio to "Get Loose"....
And, my primary mode of transportation is an incline elliptical...
You know it is challenging because nobody at the gym uses it!
But, after using for several weeks- it was becoming easy for me... so, I had to step it up.... (and start running)... which, I really did not want to do...
I had to do it though....
I did it by putting myself on a simple plan... under the philosophy and headline:
I CAN DO ANYTHING FOR 1-MINUTE...
And that is exactly what I did for 1-hour...
RUN- 1 MINUTE.
WALK- 1 MINUTE.
After a few days, well, it became easier.....
The next week...
RUN- 2 MINUTES.
WALK- 2 MINUTES.
What is the point I am trying to make?
To inspire you to start running- maybe :)
But, really, I want to show you how creating a plan.. a very simple one to get started can really work....
It does exactly that: IT GETS YOU STARTED...
I even do this with writing books...
Instead of writing the whole book, or many chapters in a sitting... I just write the TITLE...
Then, the next day, the chapter titles...
Then, the introduction...
Then, chapter 1...
Got it?
You can do this with anything you are avoiding in your life....
It works for truly anything...
Break things down to their most simple form...
It is like chopping down a tree with a small axe.. Chop, Chop, Chop... and eventually, over time, the tree falls...
SO use today as a day to get started!
