Hey Team!

We are back....

Hope you all had a great July 4th weekend.... and had a chance to rest, recharge, and spend time with friends and family!

I know I did...

This past weekend, my family  threw a surprise birthday party for my dad... 

So much fun...

And even better to see somebodies face when they had ZERO clue that they were headed to their own surprise party!

I always love parties like this because I love spending time with family friends that I have known for most of my life....

There is something very relaxing about that for me as somebody who spend most of his life on the go... traveling from place to place, plane to plane, car to car, hotel to hotel....

To just sit and talk about life is something I really enjoy.... 

And, one of my favorite people to speak with is Coach Billy King....

Coach was an early influencer in my Coaching and Personal Transformation Journey... introducing me to weight training and body building at a young age....

He empowered me as a young man, letting me know that I CAN CHANGE MY BODY... by feeding it, training it, and resting it.....

If I got the plan right, the macronutrients right, and the amount of rest right, my body would always be there for me... giving me everything I needed from it when I called upon it....

So, to this day, I continue to follow the 3-Step Formula....

1. Feed It.

2. Train It.

3. Rest It.

So, at the party, while everyone else was dancing, well, school was in session for me.... Coach King was getting on me about my macronutrients....most specifically, PROTEIN.

As we talked about my eating plan, he pointed out how low I am in my daily protein and it will effect my ability to build lean, striated muscle... and as a result, I will innately crave and want to eat CARBS to make up for the deficit. 

He wants my ratio for the next 6 weeks to be 3:1, protein to carbs so we can drain my cells of excess sugars.... rebalance the body, and take my physical transformation to the next level......

You see, EVERYBODY NEEDS A COACH IN LIFE!

Now, do I know this?YUP.

Do I train the highest performers on Earth for a living? YUP.

But, man it feels good to know you have somebody in your corner helping you to be GREAT.

You see, we get lazy as humans.

We fall into repeat patterns of negative behavior if we do not have somebody watching us and holding us accountable.....

We even find ourselves tricking ourselves.. thinking we are actually doing what we are supposed to be doing... but our actions do not match the story we have built in our minds.....

So, what did Coach leave me with that day?A great question...

How bad do you want it?

How bad?

Does eating that dessert mean that much to you? 

Does drinking that glass of cabernet mean that much to you?

Powerful questions require honest answers....

This week, think about how bad you want it.....

Think about your current actions...

Be honest with yourself...

Can you do this alone or do you need a COACH in your corner?
