I have to say, this has been a great week for me...
I had so many amazing coaching sessions this week- and the one thing I am most proud of is watching people take action.
It fires me up.
Yesterday, I was working with a 24 year old baseball player who decided to face a foe head on...
That foe was debt.
He decided to take 66% of his savings and pay off all of his debt.
We did it together.
An amazing amount of courage and freedom.
It was an emotional day for him (And me) because this is something we have been working towards. As a result- he made a commitment to never get to this place again.
He faced the enemy (personal debt) head on- and won.
What I admire most about this choice is the uninhibited action- and, the fact that there was as willingness to "go-backwards" in order to catapult forward.
This is what I preach and coach each day- sacrifice and winning actions!
What have you been "waiting for tomorrow" to do?
What is it that you have been not addressing because of how it may feel, look, or appear-like to others?
I tell you what- when you start taking charge of your life- it starts to change.
There are calls that I have with people that "talk about action"- but never actually take any.
Or, they justify reasons why they think they can do something on their own that they have struggled with for 5, 10, 20+ years...
They think a miracle is going to happen and this time it will work- no exactly.
Behavior is based on your habits, development, experiences, and perceptions.
As time goes by, those habits become stronger- making habit change even more difficult.
That is the truth.
For many they live in a state of constant pressure and that is not a position for success. Not current success or future success.
I believe in making habit change a low resistance, low will power activity.
This happens when we are able to free you of your current mental state that may be limiting and combine that with a simple plan that you actually love and enjoy.
That, with accountability, is the answer.
I can not tell you how many folks I come across are more focused on pleasing others, appearing a certain way for others, and resist change because of how things will appear than making the decision to live their best life and living like a Champion.
It drives me nuts!
Today, I want you to make a commitment to dig on on the things you have been avoiding.
I want you to finally get your plan in place, build your team that can help you achieve your goal, and put all key activities into your schedule to automate your success (or, at least make sure these key activities are as important as your career).
Let's take action.
Go after what it is you say you want.
You got this.
