Hey Team...

Happy Monday...

I hope you had an awesome weekend mixed with fitness, fun and family...

The 3-F'S.....

This weekend, I went to go see a great movie in The Irishman... the story of legendary Union Leader, Jimmy Hoffa. A stubborn man that was dedicated to his "team"..... He saw his Union as HIS UNION, HIS MEN, HIS TEAM. Stubborn, but very dedicated. Many times I believe the two go hand in hand...

What about YOU?

  • Are you dedicated to your team?
  • Are you dedicated to your cause at a deep, roots level?
  • Or, are you just going through the motions of leadership?.....

This all got me thinking a bit more about: How do YOU see yourself?

For many high performers, it is really easy to talk about your flaws, what you are not doing, what you are hoping to do, wishing to get done... but have you determined what your "arrival" looks like?

What does it look like for you to be a true success at all the things and positions you want to be successful at?

What does that look like to you?

I believe we have to begin defining what the HERO Version of Ourselves looks like...

Again, it is great to focus on "becoming"... but what does it look like when you get there? What does HERO-You look like?

The version of you that is firing on all cylinders, working at optimal, and really giving you a level of deep satisfaction....

The reason I bring this up is because too often when I coach Leaders and Aspiring Leaders in sports and business, they have a hard time articulating what "winning" means to them... and what their SuperHERO version looks like...

I believe so strongly in creating a SuperHERO version of yourself so when you are in times of doubt, struggle, low confidence, you can immediately throw on your cape and change the viewpoint of yourself in the moment.....

What does the SuperHERO of you look like?

  • Bold
  • Strong
  • Confident
  • Fearless
  • In Great Shape....
  • Motivated...
  • Playing Offense....
  • Inspiring....
  • A Team-Player...
  • Healthy....
  • Endless Energy....

You see, I know this sounds simple and may look like a bunch of words in a list format.. but we have to realize how we see ourselves in each moment is incredibly important to our results in each moment.....

I believe in staying at PEAK.. meaning high energy, high confidence, high focus, high vision as it relates to what you want to achieve.....

That is PEAK. That is the SuperHero version I see of myself......

What is it for you?

And, how often do you find yourself off that mark?

Well, if you do feel off the mark, remember, you can get back there by changing your conversation and immediately focusing on the SuperHero version of YOU!

The next step to getting yourself back to SuperHero Status is to add a "physical" component to your thoughts and vision.....

When you can see yourself stronger and change the way you speak to yourself (working more as a motivating coach when you talk to yourself) ...THEN combine that with a strong cadence of breath, a big chest and great posture.....you have the set the groundwork for Greatness.

Got it?

So, as you ATTACK your day today... and your week (6-weeks left till 2020)...remember you ARE A SuperHERO.

Believe it.

Even if nobody else does.

Let's GO!
