Hey Team!

Happy Tuesday....

Do you find yourself working around the clock when you are going after something (or someone) you want?

I know it might sound like a strange question... but many high performers have this obsessive trait.

They become so locked in, mission focused, and driven towards goalthat they lose sense of their senses and what is going on around them....

They lose time awareness...people awareness... word awareness...

They become absolutely obsessed with what it is that  they want....

SO much so, that nothing else matters....

But, the reality is, those things matter most.

Those are the things that are going to matter most (after you achieve your goal)....

Why?

Because type A, high horse power, success driven people are "chasers"... and once they achieve what it is they are going after.. there will be a short moment of "quiet" time... and then they will be off to the next thing...

Leading to a feeling of "never feeling 100% accomplished"....

An emptiness....

They then begin to think the only way to feel "close to full" is to chase again...

You see the pattern?

Chasing is the only thing that gets that person close to that "feeling"....

So what do we do?

1. Realize whatever you "achieve" will never make you happy inside...

2. Realize, the relationships and people in your life will always trump a short term achievement- no matter how big.

3. Understand that your obsessive behavior needs to be managed....

**This "ability" is a gift and a curse... you need to harness this... use the ON/OFF switch....

If you are constantly in this position of "chase".. it will become your new, learned behavior.

Over time, if all you do is run, you will also be left feeling tired, fatigued, exhausted, and your ability to digest information and content will suffer....

You will become numb....only doing the things that you know how to do... but new learning.. and the learning of new patterns of behavior will definitely be stunted.

This state is also a sign of burn-out....

The deeper you go into this state... the harder it will be to get out....

You will be hormonally challenged.. and over time, you will feel like  the world is constantly pushing down on you which will lead to frustration, and more pressure on yourself to get back to your "old-self".....

SO, if you are in this position... start the process of change today....

Begin by "flipping the switch"...

Become a strategic "chaser" with the realization of: what I catch, will never fill me up and make me feel fully accomplished and happy...

So, as you feel yourself going after something today...

Remember to ask yourself: Am I chasing this because it is important to me and my business? Or, am I chasing this because I am "craving" a certain feeling as a result of that successful chase?

Now, go have a great day....

Make somebody else feel like a Champion today...

You will realize very quickly that is the key to that "feeling" of fulfillment!

Chase Greatness..

Let's GO!
